Yoga as a tool for Grounding – Rebalance – Recharge
Find tools for deep restoration and emotional regulation 

Do you long to reconnect within? The weekend is a process to peel off layers of tension and to reconnect with your innermost self. Spring time invites us to grow roots, within us and in nature, to find courage and strength to choose which direction you want to evolve in. Yoga is about honest compassionate introspection, about being an active creator of your own life. We will call in your Sankalpa; your intention and heartfelt prayer. The heart is the emperor of our emotions and creating a sankalpa means to be in touch with that which is truly important. 


The intention of this immersion is to slow down and feel what is present within. From there we become empowered to create our own life purpose. We will practice different styles of slow, nourishing yoga, like Yin and Restorative, Qigong, Pranayama, meditations and various tools for self development. Friday night we treat ourselves to a nourishing spa evening! 


Shantiland is a retreat center in Hälsingland, Sweden, approximately 350 km north of Stockholm, that offers yoga retreats and various courses within the fields of personal development, well-being and health. The center is surrounded by nature, close to a lake and features a fully equipped SPA & Relax house with a sauna for 20 people, infra sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor pool & hamam and treatment & relaxation room


Bring comfortable clothes, warm socks, towel, bedding, a notebook and pen. An extra towel for the sauna and a dip in the lake if you like. Bring your own yoga mat and possibly a blanket.

Petra Pārvatī Kalla is an C-IAYT yoga therapist and physiotherapist. Her clinical work focuses on mainly mental health, stress related illness and long term pain syndromes. She is interested in guiding people to a more compassionate and informed connection to their body-mind. In her integrative work with Sacred spine yoga therapy, she shares the full palette of yogic practices infused with myofascial release techniques, modern self-compassion based psychology, ancient wisdom teachings of the east as well elements from qigong. By being interested in the subtle, small and slow – we reach deep within. Listening to the poetic language of our bodies, we honor and heal, rather than discipline and override our emotional and physiological shifts. The hope is to support people to find the inner will and the tools they need to take care of themselves from the heart.

Anna Viktoria is a yoga teacher entrepreneur and soon to be yoga therapist. She is educated in the lineages of Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, Yoga Therapy and alignment, MediYoga, Akhanda Yoga, Myofascial release therapy and Yoga Nidra. Meditation has been a part of Anna’s life since early age and the longing to explore depth and inner connection lead the way to yogic philosophy and as a physical practice. When she was going through a burn out yogic tools helped her heal and ignited her passion to share these practices onwards. Anna believes that the wisdom of the body is a constant teacher and that yoga can be experienced by everybody. Her intention is to awaken curiosity and joy in an atmosphere of non-achievement. Her classes are infused with warmth and presence.
